CONVEYOR-TYPE SMALL HYDROPOWER PLANT FOR SHALLOW RIVER WATERS

This paper deals with the development of a small conveyor-type hydropower plant intended for operation in shallow river waters without construction dam. The proposed design offers closed-shaped flattened conveyor equipped flat-shaped blades. is oriented perpendicular to fluid flow. Several identical flat blades interacting flow are mounted on belt and move together one straight line direction. Then after turning reversing mechanism, opposite system has built-in energy generator which drive shaft connected ends plant. Conveyor dynamics analysis performed base equivalent model degree freedom. interaction moving blade translation motion studied by computer simulation program Mathcad using superposition principle. In accordance this approach, fast-chaotic particles (Brownian motion) separated from slow-directed motion, given average velocity. Optimization parameters (blade orientation angle flow, constants braking generator) performed, generated power as criterion. Simulation results confirm serviceability operational efficiency waters.
